Based in Bristol, Christine specialises in creating intimate scenes of wildlife in their habitat. Christine uses the patterns in the wood to enhance her prints and to echo the rythmn of life as she sees it. Christine uses wood engraving for subjects that are small and best visualised in black and white. She uses woodcutting to visualise wildlife in colour.
Christine has featured in many local exhibitions including; The Bristol Guild, Spike Print Studio and Bath Society of Artists.
At present Christine is working on a series of large woodcuts, in a tall portrait format, using the height to print palm trees and tall grasses.
Christine regularly teaches Relief Printmaking for adults at Spike Print Studio in Bristol.
